U.S. State Privacy Laws Compliance

At Narvuk, we are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy, complying with privacy regulations across multiple U.S. states. While the federal privacy law landscape is evolving, several states have enacted their own privacy laws that grant residents specific rights over their personal data. These laws ensure greater transparency and control for users. This section outlines Narvuk’s compliance with key state privacy regulations, including those in California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and Utah.

Key U.S. State Privacy Laws We Comply With

  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) & California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA): Grants California residents rights such as access, deletion, correction, and opting out of data sales. For more information, please refer to our CCPA Compliance Section.
  • Colorado Privacy Act (CPA): Effective July 1, 2023, the CPA gives Colorado residents rights to access, correct, and delete their personal data. It also provides the right to opt-out of data processing for targeted advertising, sale of data, and profiling.
  • Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA): Grants Virginia residents the rights to access, delete, correct, and obtain a portable copy of their personal data. It also gives users the ability to opt-out of targeted advertising and data sales.
  • Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA): Effective July 1, 2023, it provides rights similar to those found in Colorado and Virginia, including the right to access, delete, correct, and opt-out of data processing for advertising or sales.
  • Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA): Effective December 31, 2023, Utah residents are granted the rights to access, delete, and obtain copies of their data. It also includes opt-out rights from data sales and targeted advertising.
